Dopamine was looking to build a 3D mobile game that enabled players to build their custom-made simulative Dubai. We were tasked with helping the Dopamine team build out camera controls and game systems for the Dubaiville mobile game experience. A pre-existing Dubaiville iOS build was already established that would crash repeatedly, so our architects reviewed the preexisting codebase and identified issues related to the assets that were used. Issues related to the preexisting Facebook SDK implementation were addressed as well. Adjusting the codebase to resolve these issues took the CemtrexLabs team approximately 2 weeks.
After moving past the resolutions to the codebase, our team built out the core camera and AR controls. We worked on the simulation grid system for the buildings, developed the road and game construction systems as well as the mini games and tutorial break downs using alternative SDKs. CemtrexLabs also leveraged AR implementation into the Dubaiville Unity platform.
To conclude, the team issued quality assurance testing to ensure game experience quality and guarantee Dopamine that they would be alleviated of the headaches that plagued their original codebase
